Understand our cancellation terms, refund eligibility, and processing timelines.

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs cancellations, modifications and refunds for bookings made through Triplovia. By making a booking, the User agrees to the applicable cancellation and refund terms mentioned at the time of booking.

General Cancellation Policy

Cancellation eligibility depends on:

  • Service provider cancellation rules
  • Booking type
  • Cancellation timing
  • Promotional conditions
  • Peak season restrictions

The exact cancellation policy applicable to a booking shall be displayed at the time of booking confirmation. Triplovia only facilitates cancellations according to supplier policies.

Hotel Booking Cancellation

Hotel cancellation policies may include:

  • Free cancellation (within allowed period)
  • Partial cancellation charges
  • Non-refundable bookings
  • Peak season restrictions

Refund eligibility depends entirely on the property cancellation terms displayed during booking. If cancellation is made after the free cancellation period, applicable charges may be deducted. If the booking is marked non-refundable, no refund shall be applicable.

Cab Booking Cancellation

  • Free cancellation within defined time
  • Cancellation charges after driver assignment
  • No refund after trip start time
  • No refund for no-show

Waiting charges or driver allocation charges may apply in late cancellations.

Bike Rental Cancellation

Bike rental cancellations may be subject to:

  • Advance cancellation eligibility
  • Partial deductions
  • No refund after vehicle allocation
  • No refund after rental start time

Security deposits are governed by rental partner rules and not Triplovia.

Boating Activity Cancellation

  • Limited cancellation windows
  • Weather rescheduling options
  • Non-refundable time slot bookings

Refunds for activity cancellations shall depend on operator policy.

User Initiated Cancellations

Users may cancel bookings through:

  • Website account
  • Official support channels
  • Authorized communication channels

Cancellation shall be considered effective only after confirmation from Triplovia.

No Show Policy

If the User fails to use the booked service without cancellation:

  • Booking may be treated as No Show
  • Refund may not be applicable
  • Service fees remain non-refundable

Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on supplier approval, cancellation timing, booking conditions, and service utilization status. Triplovia shall not be responsible if the supplier denies refunds as per their policy.

Non-Refundable Components

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Triplovia service fees
  • Convenience fees
  • Payment processing charges
  • Certain promotional bookings
  • Last minute bookings
  • No show bookings

Refund Processing Timeline

Once approved, refunds shall be processed within:

  • 5-10 working days for UPI payments
  • 7-12 working days for card payments
  • 5-7 working days for bank transfers

Actual credit time depends on bank processing. Triplovia shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply where part of the service was used, partial cancellation is allowed, supplier deduction is applicable, or taxes are partially refundable.

Force Majeure Cancellations

In case of Force Majeure, refunds depend on supplier policy. Rescheduling may be offered. Credits may be provided instead of refunds. Triplovia shall not be liable beyond facilitating supplier policies.

Refund Mode

Refunds shall be processed to:

  • Original payment method
  • Triplovia wallet (if introduced)
  • Bank transfer (where required)

Refund method may depend on payment channel.

Refund Rejections

Refund requests may be rejected if cancellation is outside the allowed period, in no show cases, if the service was already used, if the incorrect cancellation process was followed, or if fraud is suspected.

Modification of Bookings

Booking modifications depend on supplier approval. Price differences may apply for date changes, guest changes, or service upgrades.

Dispute Resolution for Refunds

If refund disputes arise, Users must contact Triplovia support first. Triplovia shall attempt resolution on a best-effort basis. Final refund decisions may depend on supplier confirmation.

Fraudulent Refund Claims

Triplovia reserves the right to deny refunds and restrict accounts if fraudulent refund claims are detected.

Important User Notice

Users are advised to carefully read cancellation rules before booking. By confirming a booking, the User accepts the cancellation and refund terms.
